Dr. Yris Brice WANDJI PIUGIE is a distinguished Associate Professor in Computer Science, as well as a Researcher and Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Biometrics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a strong research background in behavioural biometric systems, presentation attack detection, and performance evaluation of biometric authentication.

Throughout his career, he has held research and engineering positions in renowned institutions and companies in France — including ENSICAEN/Université de Caen and FIME — as well as at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Maroua in Cameroon. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Keystroke Dynamics, EEG signal denoising, and Deep feature fusion for user Identification (1:N) and Authentication (1:1).

Beyond academia, he is the visionary Founder and CEO of YB-TECHS, a company at the forefront of artificial intelligence and digital innovation. His unique blend of scientific expertise and entrepreneurial leadership reflects a deep commitment to advancing both research and real-world technological solutions.

In 2022, he received the Best Full Paper Award at the CyberWorlds International Conference held in Kanazawa, Japan.
